Privacy Policy

1. Information Trevio Uses

Trevio may use the following information to provide app features:

• Trip details you enter, such as destination search, number of days, group type, transport mode, selected places, custom stops and trip preferences.
• Saved trips, itinerary edits, visited or skipped stops, and Travel Passport records.
• Photos or notes you add to your Travel Passport, if you choose to use those features.
• Approximate or precise location only when you grant iOS location permission.
• Purchase and subscription entitlement status provided by Apple through StoreKit.
• Basic app usage events and purchase funnel events for analytics.
• Crash and diagnostic data for reliability and bug fixing.

Trevio does not require you to create an account.

2. Location

Trevio may ask for location access to help resolve your current city, show your position on maps, or support map-related travel features.

Location access is optional. If you deny location permission, you can still use Trevio by choosing destinations manually.

Trevio does not sell your location data and does not use location for advertising tracking.

3. Saved Trips and Travel Passport

Saved trips, itinerary edits, visited/skipped status, custom stops, notes and Travel Passport memories are stored on your device using Apple platform storage.

Some device data may be included in your normal Apple device backup or iCloud backup depending on your device settings.

You can delete saved trips inside the app.

4. Photos and Notes

If you add photos or notes to your Travel Passport, Trevio uses them only for the app features you choose.

Trevio does not upload your personal photos or notes to its own server.

Analytics events may record that a photo or memory was added, but Trevio does not send the photo, filename, note text, place name, address or exact coordinates as analytics event data.

5. Analytics

Trevio uses Firebase Analytics to understand basic product usage and improve the app.

Analytics may include safe product events such as trip generation, save attempts, paywall views, purchases, restore attempts, opening saved trips, Follow mode usage, visited/skipped actions, Travel Passport usage and Settings/legal link opens.

Trevio does not send city names, place names, exact coordinates, addresses, notes, custom stop text, photo filenames, full URLs, API keys, email addresses or personal contact details as analytics event data.

Firebase may use installation-level identifiers and technical data to provide analytics.

Trevio does not use Firebase Analytics for third-party advertising or tracking users across other companies' apps or websites.

6. Crash Diagnostics

Trevio uses Firebase Crashlytics to collect crash reports and diagnostic information. This may include crash logs, stack traces, device model, operating system version, app version and technical diagnostic data needed to fix crashes and improve stability.

Crash reports are used only for app reliability and troubleshooting.

7. Purchases

Trevio Plus purchases and subscriptions are processed by Apple through the App Store.

Trevio receives entitlement information from Apple, such as whether you have an active subscription or lifetime unlock.

Trevio does not receive your full payment card details.

8. Third-Party Services

Trevio uses third-party services to provide app functionality, including:

• Apple frameworks and services, including StoreKit, MapKit and iOS permissions.
• Google services for place search, place details, place photos, maps and route-related data.
• Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics for analytics and diagnostics.
• Weather and public context providers where enabled.

These services may receive technical request data needed to return results, such as destination text, place identifiers, approximate area, coordinates or route-related information.

Their processing is governed by their own privacy policies.

9. Ads and Tracking

Trevio does not show third-party ads.

Trevio does not sell your personal information.

Trevio does not use IDFA for advertising tracking.

Trevio does not track you across other companies' apps or websites.

10. Data Retention

Data stored on your device remains there until you delete it, delete the app, or remove the data through app features where available.

Purchase records are managed by Apple.

Firebase Analytics and Crashlytics data are retained according to Firebase/Google retention practices and project settings.

11. Children

Trevio is not directed to children under 13.

If you believe a child has provided personal information through Trevio, contact us.

12. Your Choices

You can:

• Deny or change location permission in iOS Settings.
• Delete saved trips inside the app.
• Manage subscriptions through your Apple ID.
• Contact us with privacy questions.
